KILAUEA LOSES 1
Following a week of shows in Northern Califorinia, our drummer Rocky and KILAUEA parted ways. It was an unfortunate occurrance. But the Rock lives on. As of November '06, the search is on for a new drummer. We have offers for temporary assistance to get us through Portland Doom Fest in January and other upcoming shows until a perminant replacment has been chosen.

KILAUEA'S VAN STOLEN!
The 69 Econoline was stolen on Wednesday 11/24.  Recovered 3 days later- it had been crashed. Lost: tools, art supplies, laundry (dirty), about 60 cassette tapes. Retrieved from the tow yard at the chost of $160, sold to a scrap yard an hour later for $40. Only insured for liability, there is no more van AND currently out $120.

KILAUEA RECORDING!
Kilauea enters SMEGMA studios Thur 12/01-03 to record six songs for yet unknown release. We'll be shopping it around to see what labels want to help our cause. Mike Lastra @ Smegma has decades experience recording local hard rock bands, including Alderbaran earlier this year. Plus his studio overlooks the Willamette River.
